To Evaluate the Effectiveness of Structured Teaching Program on Dietary Management of Myocardial Infarction Among Staff Nurses in Selected Hospital, Bangalore

Abstract


The purpose of the study was to "assess the efficacy of a structured instruction program on nutritional treatment of myocardial infarction among staff nurses in a selected hospital, Bangalore." The study's objectives were achieved by using a one group, pre-test, post-test design using an evaluation strategy. Using a simple random selection process, the study's sample was chosen. Sixty licensed nurses made up the sample. A structured knowledge questionnaire was used to gather data from them both before and after the STP administration. The outcomes showed a strong correlation between post-test knowledge, religion, and industry of employment. Additionally, there was no connection between post-test knowledge and age, gender, educational attainment, work history, or diet.
