Abstract

At present time, accumulated theoretical material of the studies of the equilibrium forms of the gas bubbles, fixed on the surface of solid material in the fluid, under the decrease of the acceleration of gravity, was conducted either on the basis of the geometric laws of similitude that strongly simplified the essence of the physical processes or on the basis of the theoretical qualitative assessments of the existing hydrostatic equations of the equilibrium of fluid, taking into account the decrease of the acceleration of gravity, without producing the numerical solution of these equations. The paper presents the results of theoretical and experimental study of the behavior of the gas bubble, fixed on the surface of solid material, with the decrease of the acceleration of gravity. The conducted computer modeling of the behavior of the gas bubble, fixed on the surface of solid material, with the decrease of the acceleration of gravity, experimentally proved during the process of the carried out tests on the board of the flying laboratory (FL) IL-76K, showed the possibility of the practical use of the developed computer model for the simulation of the behavior of real gas bubbles or drops in the liquid of the wide range of Bond numbers (β) in the chemically - technological processes, which take place in the life-support systems and power supply of automatic spacecraft, in the real conditions of space flight.
