Abstract

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is widely used to sequence large templates of Genome, exome and transcriptome. Over traditional sequencing method it has high resolution and success rates so it is a best option to study cancer. Combination of NGS with bioinformatic tools could be promising approach in cancer research, cancer diagnosis and treatment. In this review paper we have discussed regarding present and future of DNA sequencing in cancer genomics and also challenges faced by researchers is discussed.
