Smart Crop Protection and Animals Detection System In Farm Areas

Abstract

Fields on plantations are frequently harmed by animals such as buffaloes, cows, goats, birds, and wild elephants. Farmers suffer significant losses as a result of this. Farmers are unable to defend their fields for 24 hours. To address this issue, an animal detection system has been developed that detects the presence of animals and provides a warning before diverting the animal without injury. The proposed system will constantly monitor the field for the presence of any animal. In this project, IR sensors and ultrasonic sensors are utilised to detect animal movement and send a signal to the controller. Further the animals are being divereted by generating sound and signals, and this signal is sent to GSM and promptly alerts farmers, allowing them to be aware of the problem and accessible on the spot if the animals do not respond to the alarm. This approach guaranteed the entire safety of crops against animals, hence protecting the farmer's loss.
