Synthesis and Characterization of CeO2-ZrO2 Nanocomposites

Abstract


CeO2-ZrO2 nanocomposites were prepared by hydrothermal method and characterized by using XRD (X-ray diffractometer) to study the structural analysis of the prepared nanocomposites. The as-prepared samples were further annealed at 150º C and 300º C. From the structural studies crystal size and lattice parameter was calculated. FTIR analysis confirms the results of vibrational spectra and XPS, EDAX analysis confirms the elements presents in the composites. Effect of annealing in frequency vibration and elements binding energy were discussed here.
