Abstract

Raichur e-city is an attempt to develop and implement free, open source GIS to disseminate map data to the government authorities, stake holders as well as the citizens to promote good governance. This paper describes the technical know-how of how the Raichur GIS database has been published on web using free and open source GIS tools.
