Increasing penetration of renewable energy power system has introduced new kind of issues in power system which can cause various power supply issues like increased harmonics, ineffectiveness of protective devices, reliability problems as well as stability issues. Thus, there is required of new innovation in power converter control strategies which can provide better supply. Reliable synchronization, cost effectiveness and well suited for Solar PV system. New development in Fuzzy logic, Current control techniques, and Cascaded topologies addresses some of these issues with their pioneering methodologies. This paper reviews these technologies and provides insight of different controlling schemes as well as technologies for grid integration of Solar Photovoltaic System.
