The Solar Duo: Amplifying Energy Generation with Photovoltaics and Thermal Solar

It is now essential to use renewable energy sources to address the problems of climate change and energy sustainability. Photovoltaics (PV) and thermal solar systems have come to be recognised as leading renewable energy technologies. This study examines the "Solar Duo," a PV and thermal solar technology combination that works well together to increase energy production and system efficiency. The document gives an overview of PV and thermal solar systems separately, outlining their operating concepts, benefits, and drawbacks. The integration of PV and thermal solar is then covered, covering different hybrid systems as PV-CSP systems, hybrid solar panels, and solar photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) systems. Examined are the advantages of the Solar Duo strategy, such as higher energy output, optimal land use, and enhanced system performance. The study also examines the technical and financial elements of integrating solar energy from PV and thermal sources, looking at system design considerations, performance evaluation, cost analysis, and prospective market applications. Investigations and actual-life instances are provided to show the Solar Duo's successful application in various contexts. Finally, the difficulties and potential outcomes of this combined strategy are highlighted, highlighting the necessity of further research and development to realise the full potential of PV and thermal solar integration. As a whole, the goal of this research study is to give readers a thorough grasp of the Solar Duo concept while illuminating its importance in improving energy-efficient technology and promoting a more sustainable future.
