Study the Variation of Biodeisel Yeild with different Oil/Ethanol Ratio and Catalyst(KOH) Concentration

Abstract

Fossil fuel resources are depleting rapidly from their natural reserves. These reserves are important for fulfilling the need for our energy requirement especially as a fuel. This depletion creates a demand for scientists and researchers to look for the substitute of these natural reserves. Consumption of these carbon fuels causes increase in CO2 content of the atmosphere. Therefore Biodiesel could be a better alternative. Seeds having high oil yield and also low cost could be a feedstock for biodiesel. Hence, biodiesel conversion through transesterification has been studied with different oil/ethanol ratio and catalyst concentration for Jatropha oil.
