Abstract

Maritime Engineering Education it is highly recommended that Computer-Based Training (CBT) programs can be applied to maritime engineering education. Therefore, many maritime academic institutions, as well as professional and vocational training centers, have decided to apply this type of tool to support their environment. The objective of this paper is to describe development and effective utilization of computer-based simulators in the teaching-learning process. The main problem faced marine engineering training is how to meet the increasing requirements of engineers with the difficult financial budget and accuracy. CBT has used as machine, tutor, talent observe and assessment in marine engineering coaching. CBT is taken into account to be one in all the most effective strategies for on board coaching. CBT is barely the foremost potential coaching technology and still ought to develop in current time. “The course takes a ‘hands-on/toolbox’ approach as a result of it's vital that the content is straight away applicable to daily operations.” human resource and crewing managers onto land concerned in mariner appraisal. The course introduces the appraisal method and explains the supporting documentation concerned.
