Objective: To examine how widespread the excessive use of
earphones and music devices is among younger adults. To evaluate the impact of excessive
use of earphones and music devices on younger adults. To investigate the correlation between
the overuse of earphones and music devices and specific demographic factors among
individuals in the district of Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. The study employed an exploratory
research design, and the sample of 200 students was selected using a non-probability
purposive sampling technique. The population of present study was younger adults of
colleges and universities of district Fathegarh Sahib. To evaluate the frequency, manner, and
consequences of overusing earphones and other music devices through a self-designed
questionnaire. Data was collected through demographic data sheet for assessment of
demographic variable.
"Factors such as age, gender, educational attainment, academic discipline, year of study,
religious affiliation, relationship status, residential area, and family income were considered.
A self-designed questionnaire was employed to evaluate the frequency and prevalence of the
excessive use of earphones and other music devices among young adults. A self-structured
checklist was used to assess the effect of earphones and also self-structured likert scale to

assess the prevalence and pattern of using earphones and other musical devices. The
findings indicate that among younger adults, 1.5% experienced severe hearing
effects, 34.0% had moderate impacts, and 64.5% exhibited mild effects.
Consequently, it can be inferred that the majority of younger adults encountered
mild effects on their hearing
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Research & Reviews: A Journal of Bioinformaticshttps://techjournals.stmjournals.in/index.php/RRJoBI/article/view/1518Role of Innovative Use of Toothbrush in Debridement of Post Burn Scalp Wound2024-02-17T11:51:09+00:00Ravi Kumar Chittoriadrchittoria@yahoo.comPradossh .drchittoria@yahoo.comAmrutha J Sdrchittoria@yahoo.comSurgical debridement is the gold standard of burn debridement and can be performed using a variety of tools. This procedure eliminates necrotic tissue and foreign debris, leading to a reduction in bacterial load and facilitating the culture of the excised skin if required. Surgical debridement, primarily conducted using surgical knives like the Weck/Goulian knife and the Blair knife, has been the conventional method for this purpose. Challenging regions for debridement include contoured areas like inter-web spaces in the hands and feet, delicate areas such as the face and dorsum of the hands, and areas prone to swelling due to fluid resuscitation. Surgical knives can sometimes result in incomplete or uneven debridement leading to multiple passes and prolonged operative time and increased bleeding. There is a lack of agreement regarding the optimal tools for wound excision and debridement, with the choice typically left to the discretion of the operating surgeon and the resources accessible at each facility. When selecting from the diverse range of techniques and instruments for burn excision, factors to weigh include the impact on quality of life, the physiology of the affected region, physical aesthetics, and overall survival, emphasizing the importance of a thoughtful and individualized approach in the decision-making process.2023-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Research & Reviews: A Journal of Bioinformaticshttps://techjournals.stmjournals.in/index.php/RRJoBI/article/view/1519Use of Three Layered Regenerative Scaffold Dressing in the Wound Bed Preparation of Second Degree Scald Burns2024-02-17T11:51:09+00:00Ravi Kumar Chittoriadrchittoria@yahoo.comViswak Mdrchittoria@yahoo.comAmrutha J.S J Sdrchittoria@yahoo.comBurn injuries are prevalent among children, with thermal, scald, and electrical burns being the primary causes. Among these, scald injuries are particularly common in children under the age of five, constituting more than 65% of reported cases. In contemporary settings, diverse scaffolds are employed to enhance the healing process and minimize scar formation. Collagen serves as a crucial scaffold, facilitating tissue regeneration and promoting the formation of new blood vessels. Furthermore, alternative scaffolds such as the amniotic membrane exhibit unique anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic properties, contributing to proper epithelization and reducing scarring. Silicone gel sheets, with their hydrophobic characteristics, play a role in minimizing scarring and providing analgesia. This study focuses on a novel approach employing a three-layered scaffold dressing for a second-degree scald burn in a pediatric patient. The multi-layered scaffold is designed to optimize the healing process and mitigate scarring. By incorporating materials like collagen, amniotic membrane, and silicone gel sheets, the dressing aims to provide a comprehensive solution that addresses the specific challenges posed by pediatric burn injuries. The utilization of such advanced scaffolds reflects ongoing efforts to improve therapeutic outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care for pediatric burn patients, emphasizing the importance of a multidimensional approach in managing these common injuries.2024-02-17T11:50:41+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Research & Reviews: A Journal of Bioinformaticshttps://techjournals.stmjournals.in/index.php/RRJoBI/article/view/1515Exploration and Advancement of Drugs Within the Field of Bioinformatics: A Review2024-02-17T11:51:09+00:00Pramod chikkodipramodchikkodi115@gmail.comRushikesh Balu Shendagepramodchikkodi115@gmail.comAfter selection, research objectives fall under the supervision of either the pharmaceutical industry or pertinent academic institutions. The initial approach involves identifying drug molecules possessing the essential qualities necessary for the synthesis of targeted medications. Drug development constitutes the subsequent phase following the discovery of a drug and unfolds as a meticulous process aimed at introducing novel pharmaceuticals to the market. This intricate journey from discovery to market availability encompasses a substantial timeframe, often spanning two decades. Along this trajectory, the drug development process demands meticulous efforts, rigorous testing, and adherence to regulatory standards. The financial investment involved in this extensive undertaking can amount to a staggering $3 billion before the developed drug is deemed fit for clinical utilization. The pharmaceutical industry and academic institutions play a pivotal role in steering the course of research targets, overseeing the intricate process of drug development. The initial step involves discerning drug molecules endowed with the requisite properties, laying the foundation for subsequent phases. As drugs progress through the intricate stages of development, including pre-clinical and clinical trials, the cumulative investment of time and financial resources becomes evident. There have been many successes in drug development since the late 19th century, when Emil Fisher suggested that the interaction between drugs was similar to a key and a lock. Drug development has increasingly evolved into qualitative research integrated with theoretical and practical methods. Drug development is no w the best path to drug discovery. It uses the latest advances in science andtechnology and incorporates them into its extensive arsenal of methods and tools to achieve its main goal: to discover effective, unique, nontoxic, safe and effective medicine
2023-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Research & Reviews: A Journal of Bioinformatics
