Thermodynamic Analysis of Single Effect, Double Effect and Multi Effect LiBr/H2O Vapour Absorption Refrigeration Cycle
Abstract
Abstract
Energy is most important parameter in any industry. If energy is not saved, it would go waste. Vapour absorption refrigeration system is the best solution for waste heat utilization. The vapour absorption cycle has low COP compared to vapour compression cycle. So, study of thermodynamic analysis on cycle is required. In this study, COP and heat required for different cycles is compared. The COP of single effect, double effect and multi effect are compared and results show that multi effect has higher COP. Single effect cycle requires the less temperature but COP and capacity is low. Also, generator temperature has to be optimized.
