Analysis of an Evaporative Desiccant Cooling System
Abstract
With the drastic change in climatic conditions in recent years, demand for air conditioning is spreading all over the world. This causes a primary consumption of energy in high quantity. In order to provide the best indoor air quality and thermal comfort with minimum consumption of energy, the desiccant cooling system is one of the options in our daily life. In this work, a theoretical performance study has been done on the desiccant cooling system. The effects of various parameters on performance of the system have also been observed. It is found that the influence of studied parameters reduced the dehumidification rate.
