Green Nanotechnology Based Analysis & Treatment of Industrial Effluent

Gizachew Diga

Abstract

Till today scientists, engineers, and industry professionals have been struggling for the realization of clear, affordable, recyclable, and reliable energy source. Recently, new technology is emerged as an alternative means of reducing carbon emissions, pollutant gases, and means of waste treatment. One of the recent developments among the emerging technology is the green nanotechnology, which is environmental friend, affordable, cost effective, and an alternative means of clean energy productions. These technologies not only produce clear energy source but also reduce a great deal of waste derived from industries such as wastewater. The technology may incorporate domestic and industrial wastes particularly organic waste as a raw material for reliable energy production.  It is expected that in the production process agro waste, organic waste, microbial waste, and waste water will decomposed by electrolysis process or catalytic activity and result in green hydrogen. Today, green hydrogen is visualized as a reliable energy source. It is regarded as secure, sustainable, affordable, and competitive energy source. This research is therefore, aimed at investigating the role of Green nanotechnology for green hydrogen production. In this regard, emphasis is given to the role of green nanotechnology in producing green hydrogen, which is visualized as a bilateral economic development. In addition, an insight into the significance of green nanoparticles in harnessing this energy is seen. It is expected that this technology will ensure ecofriendly environment free from pollution by realizing zero carbon energy emission and ensure energy security.
