Study about Wastewater Management

Abstract

Wastewater Management provides fundamental knowledge about Wastewater and its treatment. How wastewater is collected, treated, and discarded from residential, industrial and commercial sources. An in-depth historical background of wastewater treatment and the effects of wastewater in the environment are explored. Classification of wastewater is described such as storm water runoff, industrial, domestic etc. To achieve the objective of reduction of biodegradable natural substances in the environment and reusing the water. Understanding various methods and challenges of wastewater management such as conventional techniques, non-conventional techniques and fecal sludge treatment and disposal and difficulties like pollution of water sources and choice of appropriate technology.
