Abstract

Phenolic compounds are belonging to secondary metabolites and played an antioxidant and anti-cancer properties. In the Soxhlet extraction process, the extraction of total phenolic content concentration was 28.0µg/ml obtained from combination of seeds and peel of of Cucurbita at 4 hr. This extract was drawn in to the Column chromatography and its concentration was increased to 34.0µg/ml. The purity of phenolic content was improved by column chromatography at 40 min.
